Do some women waste their entire lifes on a loser?

Do some women waste their whole life working on a failing relationship? WIth a guy they are not sure if hes good for her or not, just seems like a good idea to try to work things out. Even if he has already proved himself to be an a s s and she can't really change him except accept him for who he is today.
