Hobby Farms?

Does anyone have a pet cow? We are and always have been horse owners but have bought a new larger parcel in a more agricultural district and want to have a small hobby farm. I also want to make homemade soaps and have some chickens of our own. Is there anyone on here that has similar interests and would like to share thier experiences.
