I want 4-strins on a 5 string b and a high C off a 6 string on there too. no low B. will this work?
Okay, so here's my idea. i want to have a five string b without the low B and i want a high C string from a six string b put on instead. Obviously it wont be put in the same spot as the low B but you get what i mean. so basically i want to put 4-strins on a five string b and then put the high C in the missing gap below all the other strings. then i want to tune the high C to B like a guitar. so is this gonna work or not? i know i'm probably not the first dude to ever think of this but i figure it will give me more notes and harmonics to mess with and i wont have a low B string getting in my way. i just dont want a low B cuz personally i'd rather just tune back and forth from D to E anyway. so yea...that's the question. will my idea work or not???
