What's a good name for a dog?

Today I got a 6 mth old rescue dog; border collie X, mostly black with white front and brown on beak and eyebrows. Cutest little face, not sure what the other breed was but he will probably be smaller than a collie. People at Kennel called him Sammy but he don't answer to that and our next door's dog is called Sam.
