Why doesnt my xbox 360 recognize my pc computer anymore?

i was going to stream something from my xbox from the computer and all of a sudden it disconnected. the internet works fine, all the required ports are open, xbox live works fine, and i have the WMP 11 enabled for sharing with xbox but it still wont recognize the pc anymore. has anyone else had this problem and what can i do to fix this?
