Put candidate bias aside for a moment and answer this honestly...?

As a fellow Independent... It becomes one when you have more than a handful of high powered Democratic super delegates pledging that they will throw their support behind the pledged delegate leader. It makes perfect sense to me. Since covering it on day one the whole idea of 50% +1 is where they got the 2025 number from... This is what it's always been about. It's a news story because it's going to be the milestone that leads to his popular pledged delegate lead being confirmed by the superdelegates. Just wait and watch. It is a big milestone in this marathon primary. Has nothing to do with a media "agenda". If you are THAT paranoid.. get a dog.
