I have a 18yr old gelding that i barrel race when we first started out this summer in our shows we were doing great he got excellent times and we were at least winning enough money to cover our entry fees and fuel to get there but as the summer wears on he seems to be getting slower and slower,he isn't lame in any way shape or form and still is in excellent health and acts half his age he still acts all antsy to get in there and do his thing he fights me a bit and dances and prances he even sometimes gives a small rear and a leap forward and flies in there like he is really going to tear that arena up but he just slows down A LOT out there it is almost as if we are in slow motion going around the last two barrels and heading for the gate i see many people using over and unders or quirts out there to make their horses run faster and have a quirt of my own but i don't use it on him he is my buddy and i feel he is giving it his all i don't feel the need to beat him to win i figure if he is slowing down and not running out there like he used to then there is something he is trying to tell me maybe he is trying to say he is ready to retire but the wanting to get in there and do his thing so badly makes me feel otherwise yes i urge him with my voice hands and give him a few kicks but i WONT beat my horse so please don't even suggest using one on him .He is on a performance pelleted grain by nutrena that is for senior horses the stable he is kept at doesn't have very much gr in his turn out but he has free choice beautiful green freshly baled hay at all times and i supply him with electrolytes in his water in between cles,i don't know what else to give him or do to give him that pep in his step he had earlier this year in the beginning we were turning and burning now we are lucky if we stir up a little puff of smoke

I bought a bike from a guy it's a 79 with a broken chain and he said he would have to do a conversion because he couldn't find the original chain. Well after that I went to ride it home and the rear wheel started wobbling back and forth, the bearings had gone out but the guy said he rode it for like 30 miles that morning to test out the new chain. So I caught something around friday night, and when I woke up Saturday morning, I had a fever and a sore throat. No big deal, it's just a cold I thought. Stonger pain meds for Carpal Tunnel?

My fiance has carpal tunnel in both of his hands one more then the other! He has had in for awhile now and it is just getting worse as far as pain goes! He is scheduled to see a new specialist and have surgery soon! He has only been taking tylenol and ib profin for the pain! That is no longer helping! He went to the Er a couple of weeks ago cause the pain got so bad! He was given a small script for Vicodin which helped allot and he did not have to take that much! He went today though to see his new Doctor who refered him to this specialist he is going to be seeing! This doctor though prescribed him this medacine called ..Voltaren..... It is not a narcotic and it is not helping at all! Should he call his Doctor and tell him. Is it un common to recieve stronger pain meds for carpal tunnel or do think his doc just wanted him to try this first? Any ideas? What should we do! It hurts him really bad! He is wearing arm braces and id doing all of these other things his doc wants him to do.

As the plane starts to taxi faster and faster, I close my eyes and think about God as a huge, benevolent and ancient man with flowing hair and beard.....He raises His hands and lifts the plane in them, holding it up securely in the air...the plane looks so little compared to Him, there's no question that God can hold it there. And then by that time the plane has levelled off and I'm pretty much ok. As I said, no guarantees....but it works for me. :)

It's very complicated. It was the historical homeland of the Jews. Jews were expelled from Jerusalem after they revolted against the Romans. But there were always Jews and Arabs in Palestine, which was not a country, but a region controlled by other powers. For the last few hundred years, it was controlled by the Ottoman or Turkish Empire. Then when the allies won World War I, they got it as a league of nations mandate, with an agreement that it would be the site of a homeland for the Jews, without prejudicing the right of existing inhabitants. Meanwhile, many Jews, most of them refugees from pogroms in Europe, were immigrating legally and buying land. When World War II came along, the Arabs convinced the British to put a quota on Jewish immigration. Tens of thousands of Jews died at Hitler's hands as a result. Others managed to immigrate illegally. Finally, the British gave the region to the UN, and in 1948 the UN voted overwhelmingly to divide Palestine into two countries, one for the Jewish inhabitants, one for the Arab inhabitants. The Arabs were opposed to the idea of a Jewish homeland, so the surrounding Arab countries invaded, and despite an overwhelming advantage in men and equipment they lost. That's when many Palestinian Arabs and Jews left or were forced out of their homes, and equal number, actually, though the Arabs kept calling theirs "refugees" for political reasons. Then in 1967, the Arabs, led by Egypt, started another war to destroy Israel. They lost that one two, and with it Gaza and the West Bank. Israel made peace with Egypt and Jordan, which had controlled those places, but the Palestinians refused to make peace. Which is essentially where things now stand. Israel unilaterally ended the occupation of Gaza three years ago, but Hamas took over and has fired something like 6000 rockets at Israel, which is why they had to invade. Hamas is a terrorist organization that doesn't recognize Israel's right to exist. By way of contrast, Fatah, which controls the West Bank, respects the agreements it signed with Israel and was on the way to signing a peace agreement when this war broke out. Even if they sign the agreement, it's not quite clear what this will mean, since the Palestinians can't even get along with themselves at this point.

Why are there atheists in "Religion and Spirituality", if neither subject they subscribe to. The mere fact that this has been a "atheist's hangout" denotes malice on their part. If atheists would keep to themselves there would only be inter-denominational conflict, and sect conflict for the most part. By no means am I qualified to judge another, especially in their "walk". However do not confuse this with pacifism, Christ calls each of us to be His ambadors and to quote His message liberally, as well as our witness, if these offend you there is no apology. Make sure the label atheist fits if you believe the end of your life brings the end of your existence atheist is a true statement, however if you just choose not to subscribe to Christ's teachings you are "Apostate", if you do not think church organizations understand the Bible correctly you are "Non-Denominational", and if you are waiting for proof you are "Agnostic", there are many terms in this lexicon which better describe than just the broad term "atheist" the term is about as descriptive as "person" better define yourself, and if you tell a knowing believer you are Apostate they are supposed to leave you alone by order of Christ, so you do the math. All in all there are many people who call themselves "Christian" and I will not dispute their claims because Christ and the Bible say"If you abide in Me, and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you". "By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be my disciples". "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love". "If you keep my commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love." Matthew Ch.15 vs.7-10, so who is to judge the way another loves? not me, but you can see this leaves a wide berth in the beginning of faith in Christ, and as one matures they realize the path narrows of a follower to the narrow gate, so this progession or "walk" depends on the follower, some will proclaim it, and never develop a prayerful relationship with God, and if this the extent of their metamorphosis then they risk at Judgment day Christ saying "I never knew you", if they change and start bearing the fruit of the Gospel and start reaping the souls of the Harvest of God, God will continue to grow in them, and they will start to experience the joy of Heaven here on earth, and some will be Martyred for the sake of the Gospel and others, and they will have a special place at the throne of God, all in all there are many diversified peoples who start the "walk", but few who continue in it, and expand on it, by their own choice, you see the difficulty here? Many will cry "Lord, Lord" that will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven, not because of their acts, but their relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

Look up the view "egalitarian" in connection with women in ministry and you will find a whole different approach. Also, I have absolutely no problem that Paul was ripping off OT texts. Okay, so here's my idea. i want to have a five string b without the low B and i want a high C string from a six string b put on instead. My 25 mth old girl who sleeps in room with her 1 yr old sister is taking FOREVER to go to sleep at night! HELP?

She is a highly active, sensitive & aware little girl (just like my first one was but MORE). Lately, she's been staying up for a couple hours after I put her to bed playing, yelling, jumping, singing, you name it. The main issue is that her 1 yr old baby sister sleeps in the same room and is being kept awake or woken back up every night and is very upset and tired. My toddler even has a cold right now and is still taking forever to go to sleep tonight. They have one nap earlier in the day and a lot of times she even acts tired before bed. She has a tendency to become more hyper, rambunctious and delirious when she gets sleepy (and is a danger to herself and others). They barely ever get sugar in their diets, and definately none close to bed. The other issue is she climbed out of her crib for the first time a couple days ago, but she just doesn't seem ready for a toddler bed, as she will never stay in it! I have recently started going back in her bedroom and popping her with a spoon (not beating) and telling her she needs to be quiet, but it took several times tonight and still staying up 2 hours before she finally went to sleep. We live in a fairly small apartment and I really need to keep the 2 of them in the same room. Just wondering if any of you have been through anything similar with young kids sleeping in the same room or hyperactive, non-sleeping toddlers. Your feedback is greatly appreciated - I'm desperate for suggestions at this point!

Why is my period late??

I am 30 years old and my husband had a vasectomy 3 years ago which results in a zero sperm count 3 months post surgery. My period is 5 days late, I am ususally 28 days plus or minus 1-2 days at most. I am also currently on antibiotics for a UTI and am not sure if that would cause a late period. I took a First Response pregnancy test and it says I am not pregnant. Looking at all these pregnancy questions I notice way too many young teenagers asking if theyt are pregnant. They are worried and scared and obviously not ready to be parents. i was going to stream something from my xbox from the computer and all of a sudden it disconnected. the internet works fine, all the required ports are open, xbox live works fine, and i have the WMP 11 enabled for sharing with xbox but it still wont recognize the pc anymore. has anyone else had this problem and what can i do to fix this?

Can I sue a hospital in Florida for denying me my right to feed my son in the emergency room?

recently I had broke my ankle at the park w/ my kids. I was taken by ambulence to the nearest hospital emergency room. When I arrived my boyfriend took the kids to the waiting room. While there I was on a bed in the hallway for 5 hours. Meanwhile hysterical crying in pain. They did not give me any pain medicine, ice pack or anything. I was left laying there on a bed with no blanket as well. I asked numerous times for pain medicine, blanket and ice. As well as to go to the bathroom. At one point the male nurse tried to take me to the bathroom as he flipped my broken leg off the bed i screamed in pain so he put me back up on the bed and left me for another 2 hours. All the while I was hysterical crying in pain. I had a bone sticking out of my leg (not thru the skin but you could see it sticking out) and severly swollen. About 4 hours p and I'm finally taken to xray. thanks to the xray techs they helped me to the bathroom. Afterwards I was brought back to the hallway to wait. About an hour after I had first arrived my son was bloody murder screaming inthe waiting room w/ my boyfriend. He was starving and is a feed baby. He WILL NOT take a bottle and is highly allergic to any form of dairy. They told him I was not allowed to feed b/c I was in the hallwaya nd they didnt have a room for me. I have a card I was given by the lactation consultant at the hospital i had my son. It stated you have the right to feed any where you are authorized to be public or private and it gives the house bill #'s and/or statues. It is the LAW in Florida for the health and well being of both the mother and child. It was a total of 7 hours before I was released and given pain meds. They took my iv out w/o gloves 2 days later I popped up with these spots of puss and red and extremly painful all around where my iv was. then a day later they started appearing on my left leg and then my face. it was SO painful. Ended up at a different er to find out it is MRSA. Needless to say it was sa horrible experience. ANyhow my whole point here (dorry for all the extra details) is can I sue the hospital for denying me the right to feed my child according to Florida Law? And if so, what kind of attorney do I need to hire? And how hard is it to sue a hospital I've heard it is nearly impossible. As well I was told that numerous restaurants have done this to mothers and paid out between 10-25 thousand dollars to keep them quiet and out of the news.

Yes, i think i partly agree, although i haven't read Breaking Dawn yet (I only read the first part, up until Bella finds out she's pregnant). But the beauty with Twilight is that it's (for me, at least) a love story, and love stories don't need too much action to be good. Harry Potter is not a love story, so the action part was vital. Twilight is all about the mood it sets, about how it makes you (or me, actually) feel.

Stressed out about life?

Lately I'm literally overwhelmed by everything happening in my life. I'm fighting with my family constantly. There are family members who are close to me that are very sick. My friends and I are always bickering and on each others nerves. I'm on the verge of losing my best friend. I'm falling behind in school in 3/4 subjects (pre-calculus, chemistry and geo planitaire) because I don't understand what's being taught to me so I feel stupid. I know most people don't ever want to do this, but if you are having a hard time you should set up a meeting with your professor. Anytime I ever had a hard time with something I made sure to talk to the instructor, that is what they are there for and that is what you pay tuition for. There is no reason to feel like you are drowning in information. You shouldn't just make up things when there is a chance to do something else. Run through the reading again and highlight the main-points. Send out a m e-mail to the other students in the cl. Do what you can. We have all been in this situation, and from time to time I have BS'ed a paper. But if it is worth a high percentage of your grade, you shouldn't just brush it off. And don't worry, not all of college is crappy papers, some of mine have had the best readings I have ever come across. The first year of college is your most important year grade wise, keep your GPA up.

He was tailgating me and SAW me do something illegal so why didn't I get pulled over by the state-police?

Today I was driving back from somewhere on a highway. It's a 2 lane highway and the speed limit is 50. I was in the left lane going exactly 50 because I noticed the state police. I kept looking in my rear-view mirror and then he was right behind my @ss! I mean literally! If I slowed down even a little, I know for a fact he would've hit me. My rabbit has a hutch with a wire part and a part I put straw or bedding in there for her to sleep in. She always goes to the bathroom in her straw the very next day after I just cleaned it. Aren't rabbits supposed to be clean animals? Is this normal? I have two other rabbits and they don't do this at all. They always keep their sleeping area clean. Problem with my sound system on my computer....?

ok I have older emachines(2005 maybe?) AMDSempron processor3100+. It is saying I no longer have a sound device. Now my computer sound effects for my windows (ME) still work but nothing on my yahoo, youtube, pogo etc. when i go to control panel>sound and audio devices it says it has no audio device.
